Snowy Wings
Photographed in late March, this aerial series captures the shifting patterns of a partially thawed lake in Norway. Layers of ice, etched with cracks and tonal variations, reflect the rhythm of the passing winter—alternating between frost and thaw. Wind-blown snow has settled along ridges and fractures, forming delicate, wing-like shapes across the frozen surface. In some areas, faint green tones reveal the presence of algae beneath the ice, adding another layer to this quiet record of seasonal change shaped by temperature, wind, and time.
