Visit Faroe Islands

Extensive photo trip on behalf of the Faroe Islands’ tourism board in the winter months of 2016–2017. The main focus of this project was to document the less frequented natural sights of the archipelago and capture the more common places from a new perspective.

Due to the strong influence of social media, it has become more and more challenging for tourism boards to distribute guests evenly throughout the country. Most people rely on popular travel blogs or Instagram when planning their trip, but these sources often document the same places as one another, which are usually close to the main roads.
