Ice Flow (Part 1)
Aerial view of the glacier river Þjórsá in South Iceland captured around Urriðafoss waterfall in February 2024. Þjórsá is the longest river of the island with 143 miles and has its source at the glacier Hofsjökull, which is also the largest active volcano in the country. The river flows through narrow gorges in the remote highlands of Iceland until the water reaches the Atlantic Ocean.
